As I've been travelling heavily and mostly in regions of world where internet is very slow and unreliable (have a guess which continent haha) - I am somewhat behind on my blogging. But for regular readers maybe hungry for some of my thoughts, this is an excellent interview by MobiThinking that asked my views on many of today's hot topics from OTT messaging wars to wearables to Augmented Reality.

(the story has excellent links to many companies and stats etc that I mentioned - thanks MobiThinking for doing the excellent legwork for any of your readers. And it includes mentions of many of my mobilista gurus such as Chetan Sharma, Osama Manzar, Dan Appelquist, Tony Fish, Peggy Anne Salz, Dave Birch, Madanmohan Rao, Russell Buckley, Martin Feldstein and Michael Becker.)
Thank you MobiThinking!
@Gonzales:
Please spare me, your car analogies, they do not work here:
Have you ever driven with a Porsche on the Autobahn? It is a difference like day and night compared to your average Toyota.
If the Toyota would be as good as the Porsche, Porsche would have a serious problem. Sure, some show-offs would still prefer the Porsche for the bragging rights, but lots of customers would not.
And this exact same problem starts with Samsung now and will also hit apple.
People who buy a product which is three or four times more expensive, but has no other advantage are morons, not premium customers. The average premium customers are willing to spend more, but they expect something in return.
