@keith: "Nokia have more exposure in the US than they ever have." - resulting in selling 400k phones, regardless what a HUGE marketing budget was spent (Nicki Minaj on Time Square + lots of M$ money).

In contrast, Nokia sold 300k Symbian phones without any meaningful masrketing budget in the US before some clever guy gave that market up completely....

Wait, that 400k includes Canada, too, not just US - does it worth it?

i am still wondering about the pro-MS-phone-for-NOKIA-crowd.

the whole catastrophic development was predicted (in short: MS will be the death for NOKIA) from a lot of people (with slightly different explanations).

it is accompanied with updates and explained in great detail (most complete stuff here; parts of it elsewhere in the net) during from day 1 to today.

the facts are reported continuously and are consistent with the general expectation/forecast.

still people are talking nonsense about how this is going forward or how a turnaround will happen (which in itself is only necessary cause of the insane strategic decisions made by obscene rich people without conscience) and why this and that failure is normal (or even good, cause NOKIA could not handle more success).

i am not talking about MS-fanboys or the astro-turf-crowd.
i am talking about people i work with in this which see the details of the failure every day.
they are much more intelligent, empathic, bright and tough then me...but still.

this is not easy to deal with i can tell you.
