There are a lot of videos about my various presentations on many topics. But I saw this video about a recent presentation I gave at a Google Think Mobile event in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, which was particularly well produced, to help make the video work well on a screen, that still captures both my enthusiastic presentation style, and yet has the slides presented clearly without any disturbance.
The link is here: Tomi Keynote to Google Think Mobile Event
I think this is a very good video to show the powers of mobile as it relates to media and in particular advertising and marketing. There is the typical stats-attack in the early part and the typical case studies from around the world, and of course it ends with some mobile magic. It runs about 30 minutes. This could be a good video for you to have a colleague watch, if you need to help convince the person about the potential of mobile. Thank you to Google both for inviting me to do the keynote and for producing such a good video.
And a short plug here - one of my 12 books is a collection of case studies of excellence in mobile advertising and marketing. Pearls Vol 1: Mobile Advertising has 50 case studies of my fave examples and the ebook is formated for the small screen so if you work in advertising, its a handy volume to have stored on your smartphone to have an 'emergency collection' of proven ideas in mobile, in case your client suddenly demands some 'innovation' etc.. It only costs 9.99 Euros and you can have the pdf file ebook downloaded today. See more here Tomi Ahonen Pearls Vol 1: Mobile Advertising.
Mobile advertising is an essential pillar of a successful online marketing strategy, and with Google, you get two high-impact, robust solutions: display and search advertising

Tomi, you should be the CEO of Nokia!!
Posted by: Alin | March 01, 2012 at 12:58 PM
Nice to see your speak Tomi ;-)
Well presented, and good content inside !
Did I heard correct that you have been head of Nokia Consulting ? Was Nokia CSI ?
Have you been part of the Nokia MIA program (MIA bad Nokia name for Mobile Internet Applications), that "fail" badly in 2001, maybe it was the reason why you left Nokia?
I agree with Alin, you will be a much better Nokia CEO compared to the current and the last one, but be better then them is quite simple. But I don't think the share holders that control Nokia do like you ;-)

Tomi,
Thanks for sharing your presentation with us.
@elm70
about the joke.
I think its not because it's a bad joke,
but maybe the audience were not as advance to understand it as tomi expect.
I believe if the joke were told in USA or Europe, it would got a standing applause.
