To all who are interested in mobile marketing, mobile advertising and related topics (customer relationships, data mining, m-commerce etc..) - we will have a Tweetcast on 20 September.

What? Yes, a kind of online conference or panel, where MMA Chief Marketing Officer Paul Berney (who is @PaulBMMA on Twitter. And for those who are not really into mobile marketing, the MMA is the Mobile Marketing Association) and I will be providing some of the content and expert views, and we will have the latest findings of a new Ipsos and TNS global survey of mobile marketing and advertising, that has just been concluded, that covered several thousand consumer surveys and 1,000 marketing/advertising industry expert surveys. The survey was sponsored by Google and the MMA. I have been seeing some of the findings in the recent Google 'Think Mobile' events I have had the honor of giving the keynotes for, here in Asia, like in Taipei last month and in Hong Kong now next week. The findings of the mobile marketing research are very interesting and useful.

As our Tweetcast is on Twitter, it means we can all participate for free (I trust anyone who reads my blog will have a Twitter account haha, if you didn't know me there yet, I am @tomiahonen but most who read this blog will also be following me on TW).

The date for the event is 20 September, so its next week Tuesday. The time is 6 PM Central European Time, ie 5 PM London Time, 12 Noon New York time and yes, 12 midnite Hong Kong/Sin time (Sin as in Singapore not sin as in .. well .. the stuff some people do at midnight haha). For West Coast Americans it will be the first thing of the morning, for East Coast Americans it'll be a lunchtime thing, for Europeans just after work, and for us here in Asia-Pacific, well, we have to be night-owls to participate in it haha.. Ozzies and Kiwis will need to have extra-strong coffee haha..

The arrangements are by my dear friend Peggy Anne Salz (who is @peggyanne and @mobilegroove on TW) who also does the podcasts with me from time to time and is probably better known for editing the excellent annual Netsize Guide.
