I had the great pleasure to do the keynote at Digital Now in Orlando Florida in April. They videotaped the keynote presentation and kindly posted it on YouTube. If you'd like to see and hear me, rather than just read this blog - and perhaps get the 'big picture' overview rather than this minutiae of the blogs, you might enjoy the video. The presentation was called "Digital Now: And What Role Mobile"
In the presentation I start by examining the size of the mobile industry. Then I talk about the consumers of mobile services and focus on youth trends. I then discuss mobile as the 7th mass media channel and illustrate each of the 8 unique abilities of mobile. I then put mobile in the context of digital convergence and talk a bit about mobile and money. I end as usual, with some magical services. I think of recent presentations of mine, this is a good 'generalist' presentation about the state of mobile that would probably be of interest to most readers here on the blog. Enjoy! Presentation is adorable and to be honest I never review the mobiles as one of the most important media chanels these days but this is so true. You presentation just make me go deeper in the way nowadays people live and what media chanels are reflecting them.

I’ve found that sometimes a good visual can make all the difference to a blog post, so I’m always sure to include at least one. They brighten the place up a little too.

While this subject can be very touchy for most people, my opinion is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do appreciate that youve added relevant and intelligent commentary here though. Thank you!
