Alan and I both believe strongly in the power of mobile as the 7th of the Mass Media as a compelling engagement marketing platform. We see brilliant examples of early engagement marketing from Blyk in Britain to Tohato in Japan. And more major brands are gettting it too. A good example is BMW. I met up with Marc Mielau of BMW when I presented at the Vodafone Mobile Advertising conference at the McLaren centre in England earlier this year and we had a great discussion about BMW's initiatives in this space. Now MobiAd News has published a great interview with Marc about BMW's initiatives in this space. They are very methodical with the media channel. And Marc talks about several ways they use mobile, from launching the 1 Series, to using 2D Barcodes, to selling used BMW cars. Its a good interview to read.
