I met up with Jari Tammisto the CEO of Mobile Monday who was here in Hong Kong on his trip to Macau and the 3GSM conference last week.
Jari told of a game that was one of the finalists for best mobile game. Its rather simple, use your mobile phone to enter, try to guess exact distance between your current location and the Lambo factory in Sant' Agata Bolognese in Italy, in kilometers. Entry by SMS text message. The game was sponsored by Intel and Nokia as well as Lamborghini of course, and the grand prize was an all expenses paid trip to visit the Lambo factory in Italy.
An interesting twist on the location based mobile game and obviously very simple for the gamer to participate, not requiring any expensive 3G handsets etc.
Couldn't you just use Gmail to find out the exact distance?

In contrast to his rival Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini had decided early on that there would be no factory-supported racing of Lamborghinis, viewing motorsport as too expensive and too draining on company resources. This was unusual for the time, as many sports car manufacturers sought to demonstrate the speed, reliability, and technical superiority through motorsport participation. Enzo Ferrari in particular was known for considering his road car business merely a source of funding for his participation in motor racing. Ferrucio's policy led to tensions between him and his engineers, many of whom were racing enthusiasts; some had previously worked at Ferrari.
