I thought Panda Channel was the brand name of an Asian broadcaster (and well, yes, it is). But as I checked it out on the NOW cable TV provider in Hong Kong, sure enough, it is 24 hours of live coverage of pandas, the Chinese white cuddly bears. The Panda Channel broadcasts 24 hours from the local zoo and yes, nothing but pandas all day and night.
But boy do they make for boring TV. Pandas sleep most of the time and what counts as excitement with pandas is eating bamboo. Sure, kids love pandas but still, 24 hours of watching the animals mostly just sleep? Well, considering the writers' strike in America, perhaps we'll grow to appreciate all forms of reality TV more, including the Panda channel.
No pandas are too exciting you have to visit cheddarvision.tv. However if that is really too slow check our the timelapse on the Youtube link!!! :-)

Kind of like the American local cable channel that used to broadcast pictures of it's fishtank after midnight.
Problem was one day the fish died so the channel began to broadcast test pattern......only to have people ring up and complain the fish had gone.
Cheers,
Dean
