Yes and what about YouTube footage being used(and quoted as such)this week on the BBC News 24 channel to show what it's like to land at Sao Paulo's domestic airport in rain following the recent crash.

John Varney made a great presentation on this at the TV2.0 event in London this week, tracking the change in TV journalism from 9/11 through the Asia Tsunami to the trgic events on 7/7 in London. He commented that 9/11 was the last major news event where coverage was exclusively provided by broadcasters. I believe him.

There was a stimulating and sometimes bizarre debate at TV2.0 on all of this - I haven't seen much on this on the blogoshpere. I'll post
