Ohmy News invades Japan

One of our fave success stories of digital communities - and a case study in our book - is Ohmy News from South Korea. The citizen-journalist online newspaper, with over 40,000 citizen reporters on about four years has become the fourth most trusted news source in South Korea.

Now they've crossed the sea and launched a Japanse edition. The first issue went live late in August, and was reported by Wireless Watch Japan. Congratulations Ohmy News! We wish you a long and prosperous future - and hope we'll see Ohmy News in many more markets.
