Our friend Russell Buckley over at the MobHappy blogsite wrote a most perceptive piece today about how much a child-tracking service is pointless. It just creates a false sense of security to the parents. Russell writes a very funny piece, in which he then gives an example of parents discovering their son Matt at a party without permission, and then Russell explains what really happens:
"So apart from humiliating Matt, all that parent has achieved is that Matt isn’t going to take his phone with him next time he goes partying. Or he’ll leave it with a study mate to lull his parents into a false sense of security."
Great posting Russell ! I urge all of our readers to go read his posting entitled "Sexual Predator Zones."
