I met with James Seng last week and we talked at length about communities and marketing. James is active in the Singapore blogging community as well as working for the local regulator iDA. He saw my presentation about how communities are changing traditional marketing communications. James says in his (private opinion ie non-official) blog:
"I love discussion that screwed with my brains and best of all changed my perspective. Suffice it to say Tomi certainly did :-)
Anyway, his latest book is on community. I am attracted to this book because it is perhaps the first book I am aware of, written for business and marketing folk on how to deal (leverage) bloggers. Some of the concepts of the book totally would turn traditional marketing upside down.
Given that many non-blogger businessmen and marketing folks are still trying to figure out how to deal with bloggers, this looks like a timely and great book to read."
Thank you James. Lets keep up the discussion, debate and dialogue. And thank you very much for the plug. I look forward to meeting you again the next time I'm in Spore! :-)
At 7 June, 2010, the latest iphone 4 generation was announced. It's been a high time to get the iphone 4 white, or we may lost the fashion trend. Don't we?
