MicroNokia's relationship is as unhealthy as sugar pimp's relationship to a college girl.

Iraq War, Iraq WMD-lie, 9/11 conspiracy, Nokia-Microsoft partnership....

Only during recent years I have learned how stupid the masses are and how easy it is to feed them with lies and play with their complexes.

Symbian was a relic, but it was nevertheless a brand with such attributes that it had a market niche.

Nokia is now with Wp7 just another boring handset maker with inferior hardware.

Nokia, go to hell with your max 4.3" display and tired live tiles ..it's just boring!

I have been using many handsets and as a handset onwer, who owns Sharp SH01-D , Nokia N9 and iPhone 4S. I must say that using Nokia N9 makes me always smile. The swipe UI is simply wonderful. All these phones are excellent, btu there is just something in N9 which I like. When it comes to SH01-D I must say it's excellent, but I feel android still needs some polish how it works....it's not always that intuitive althrough I find custom Sharp UI better than non-modified Os.
When it comes to iOS it needs some rewamp, it's beginning to feel old.... as iOS is "organic os" from design perspective it needs to improve it's looks to look.

P.s I think that steve jobs would have loved nokia n9 as steve jobs was minimalist (no buttons at all). If steve Jobs would have been healthy enough to see Nokia N9 I think he might have blatantly stolen some ideas from it....

@TomiFan: No you don't see that, by reading just my one question. Thank you for the answer though! I didn't know if there is AB for Windows Phone and I couldn't find it by lil googling. Instead I found news about AB creators' initial decision (which was reversed soon) not to port Angry Birds Space to WP and that made me wonder whether there are older AB versions for WP.

@Junk: Uh-oh, you really write some disgusting slander of Nokia engineers... are you proud of your words?

I am not a Nokia employee but I have had dealings with the company and I can tell you there are some very smart and compenent engineers in the company. For me it seems Nokia's core problem has been (and still is?) the management. There is not much the engineers can do if the management thinks that certain areas are not important, like user experience, UI, touch screen (in the past), 3rd party applications, software quality, etc.

@TomiFan

Where is the angry bird SPACE in WP???

Note: Angry bird Space were build with OpenGL that were compatible with iOS&Android&Symbian&Meego in which WP7 did not support. WP7 have different kind of 3D tech. Therefore Rovio decide not to support WP7 and said it out loud in the interview....

But then.... Microsoft or nokia pour some money into rovio, and rovio revert their statement.

vladkr

@Tomifan: Windows Vista works very well too... the first 3 months...

@Tomifan,

That because Tomi don't want to repeat an answer. You should read before post policy...

Oh Tomi, when Samsung comes up with the Q1 results, could you please make a division between Samsung sales (How many Android, how many Bada, especially how many ICS and how many devices using outdated Android that will never be upgradeable)? Those numbers would be interesting and I would love to give you some positive feedback even once. ;-)

my N9 came from Finland, cheers Elop. ;)

Just asking: Why do you use the 140 EUR ASP for non-Lumia sales in US although the ASP had been 107 EUR in Q4/2011 and 117 EUR in Q1/2011? I would even argue that it is less than that because Lumia's replaced some of the Symbian smartphones rather than dumbphones. Well, with the 110 EUR ASP for non-Lumia phones I'll get 165,000 non-Lumias, which leaves about 435,000 Lumias. Also there were some Lumia 800s floting around in entertainment bundles and such so maybe 400,000 might be closer :). What do you think?

Having read this I believed it was extremely enlightening. I appreciate you spending some time and effort to put this informative article together. I once again find myself spending a lot of time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it!
