Twitter keeps growing. Recently I've found more and more of many of my fave bloggers who write about mobile to seem to be less productive. Who used to blog daily, now seem to be blogging weekly or so. But so many of these now are doing many Twitter updates daily.
So, do we have a shift going on, from the blogosphere to Twitter? Or perhaps there is blogging fatigue? Or maybe this was just a blip and there is no universal pattern (yet). I personally do appreciate reading longer blog postings about given stories, wheteher its mobile telecoms or Forumla One or politics or history or whatever. I personally appreciate the analysis more than the headline, and thus I don't get as mcuh out of given Twitter stories - and feel a mild sense of frustration when I have to hop over to various links from Twitter. But I am sure part of that reflects both my age, and my love of reading.
By the way, Tiwtter for me is a perfect tool to practise the skill of writing concisely. I know I am verbose in my natural style..
Tomi consider this
1 - twitter streams archive to nowhere
2 - blogs are the content Twitters reference
3 - blog content stays up for ever
4 - most twitter links go to blogs / news / articles that are permanent
Ask yourself - which is the more permanent record of my writing and points of view?
I know where I spend my efforts

Be interesting to know the uptake of twitter amongst various language groups. The Greek community don't seem to be so fired up about Twitter.
