Ha ha, yes, I have my F1 blog, so I won't do much of the Formula One stuff here. But this is really about digital convergence so it is "legimate" for our blog as well.
Autosport, the weekly UK based car racing magazine, in its March 27 issue (we get the magazine almost a week later here in Hong Kong) discusses the big news, that in the UK, the Formula One TV coverage will switch from ITV back to the BBC, after ten years. So far so good. Then Autosport gives its ten suggestions of what they hope the BBC will do to make its new Formula One TV coverage better. And the night item on the list? Mobile! Autosport said as the ninth recommendation:
"Bring F1 to a younger audience via mobile phone content."
Ha-ha, here is a print media (1st mass media) participant, giving advice to TV (5th mass media) to expand into mobile (7th mass media). Cool.
(and PS - Do they read the Communities Dominate Blog at Autosport or Haymarket their publisher?)
