"A book on the 21st century. This is the world of my children rather than my parents. A must read." what wonderfully delightful words to read in his review of our book by Richard Ross!
There have been many more endorsements for our book Communities Dominate Brands. Alan and I were on vacation so we've a bit neglected this part of this blogsite, and we are sorry. I will try to search out all reviews that have been released so far, and provide full links to all that exist in the digital space. But check out these from OgilvyOne, Korg and the University of California at Santa Clara:
"This is a great book with a key message for our business about engagement. Consumers want a relationship with companies and they want - indeed expect - to be treated with care and respect. This book has changed the way we look at our business and our relationship with our customers. Good research, background and case study examples including where it can all go wrong. Very Good Book"
Rob Castle, MD Korg UK
“The thesis that Moore and Ahonen are propounding seems radical - brand value, it seems, resides and is created far more in the synapses and interactions that exist between everyday people than in the space between audiences and the media they consume. But before you mark this down as yet another revolutionary theory, remember that people have been chatting around fires for a million years or so longer than they have been watching Coronation Street. I earnestly recommend you read this book - and then wander around telling lots of other people to read it too.”
Rory Sutherland, Vice-Chairman & Creative Director, OgilvyOne.
"All other books on marketing pale before this book on the 21st century world. This is the world of my children rather than my parents. A must read. Written with verve and excitement. I can see neurons humming. I am assigning it to my classes at University of California as a required text."
Richard Ross, Professor, University of California Santa Clara
Thank you Rob, Rory and Richard. Your words are so uplifting to Alan and me, returning from vacation and wondering if "our baby" is really worth reading. Thank you very much for these words.
Well I'm here to seek info on getting an endorsement by....Korg or Roland. I know this is out of the ordinary, but I feel like the worst thing that can happen is me getting turned down. I'm a 17 year old trying my best to be a good kid. Staying out of trouble, not doing drugs, and trying to be a role model for the black young community. I have been playing with their equipment for years and I have been loseing out, because I don't have the finances that are needed to purchases better equipment..I'am in the music industry, and Iam very well known around town in local community churches. My father is aware of the music industry, and he is doing all he can to keep me focus and away from the riff raff that comes along with it. He doesn't want me to get caught up in the wrong crowd.
Our Finances have been limited on what I can buy..I'am very talented and can play every...intrument that korg and Roland makes...most people hear me and say (What are u doing...here man u sholud be ...playin for big time singer and musicians) but I find out that my talents draw younger generations, and I am able to deter alot of my peers from mischief, by involving them with my music....and I do believe I can be a big help to Korg or Roland because of my abilty to "Master" Their products! That is why I need your "Surpport NOW" If u need for me to send a copy of my skills please inform me where to send it!!!!
Thank you very much for reading this letter

I too am seeking information on how to receive an endorsement from Roland and Digidesign. I'm a 19-year-old singer/songwriter/producer attending Virginia Commonwealth University as a music major, and this has been a financial strain on my family. They do the best they can by me, but the truth of the matter is they're only able to help me finance half of my college education, with me working to provide the rest. This leaves me without any means to buy such Roland and Digidesign products that have been instrumental in my development as a recording artist and producer (one of my mentors who used to allow me to use their Fantom and MV-8000 in their Protools-ran studio in order for me learn passed away six months ago). I planned on writing and producing for professional recording artists and record labels while I'm in school for the sake of financing my education, and I have the necessary connections to do so, but without the equipment or money to get to a studio that has the equipment I'm stuck in a bind. I do plan to eventually go into the music industry full-time as a recording artist, songwriter, and producer, but I do not want to risk losing this education that Ive worked so hard just to be able to have the opportunity to receive. Music, and in particular the Recording Arts, have been my life saver from being lured down the wrong path, but I'm in jeopardy of not being able to continue and it's also the one thing that has been my healing therapy of dealing with the passing of my mentor. If there's any way that you could help me and support my cause as well so that I could continue to make music, I'd be so grateful and neither words nor actions could even begin to express my gratitude. I'd also send some music your way so you could have an idea of what I've been able to do while using their products.
Thank you so much for your time and for reading this letter.

I would like to propose not to wait until you get big sum of money to order different goods! You should just get the business loans or just short term loan and feel comfortable

Also it is worth noting one more part. The mobile phone unique owner population is very near a perfect match with consumers of "any disposable income" worldwide, ie a measure of the economically viable population, probably covering 98% of the planet's economic reach. The TV set population reflects TV owners - and this, smaller numberm reflects a more wealthy subsector of the global economy - every TV owner also has at least one mobile phone but most mobile phone owners today do not own also a TV set. Whereas the TV audience viewership includes lots of extremely poor family members (no jobs, no income) or very young kids who do watch Disney or Teletubbies but are not yet in the economically viable part of the economy. But once a parent gives a child a mobile phone, the child knows how to speak and usually also write, and even if not yet fully in the economy, is getting ready to join it
